Chronolgical Outline 

1. Patti Fitzgerald used our boy at stud. We agreed upon a puppy back instead of a stud fee.

 

2. Patti offered us the Sedona kennel name on a couple of pups as well.

 

3. The dam is co-owned with Janis Neilson in Canada.

 

4. Sedona Borzoi had an inquiry from a Japanese puppy applicant.  Kayo reached out and connected with Risa Ikeya.  Over time, when the Tribute litter was born it was agreed Risa was going to get pick male.

5. Pups born, Risa agrees of our recommendation of puppy named Arrow.

​

6. To import to Japan pup has to stay in US until rabies quarantine time. 7 months.

​

7. Kayo fostered for Risa Arrow until he would be ready export to Japan.

​

8. Patti Fitzgerald had beautiful 2 year old girl (Odette) and offered us her instead of pup from litter. Patti said she could just not do her justice in the ring and was never going to breed a Borzoi litter again, just focus on her other breeds: Brussels Griffons, Chihuahua and Whippets under the Hi Tor kennel name. We said yes since we could use the boy from litter that we placed for her and co-own.

9. Patti’s son drove Odette and Arrow from NY to Florida where Kayo lives. Kayo paid them $500.00 for transport. Patti was working on getting Odette signed over to Kayo and myself.

​

10. Risa came to visit Kayo with friend for 10 days. While there Risa went ballistic on Kayo, screaming at her about missing timing for a rabies shot. Kayo was courteous and kept quiet.

​

11. Risa was pissed and wanted to speak with me. I let her have it over the phone about how rudely she had treated Kayo as a guest in her home. Risa wanted me to then take Arrow out here in WA. I said no that I would fall in love and never be able to let him go.

​

12. After that Risa then told Patti that Arrow and Odette were being abused by Kayo. Risa Lied!

​

13. Patti then texted Kayo and said she was sending her son down and wanted to get Arrow and Odette. She said it was temporary for Odette to be finished by a handler in New York. I did not trust Patti by then and knew once Odette was gone, Kayo would never get her back.

​

14. We were pissed off but said nothing at that time.  It was then that I eliminated the "content" from the Tribute To Kishiga website.  I had created it as a favor and gift to Patti FREE of charge and it was my intellectual creative work with the right to do so.

​

15. Out of the blue a very long post appeared on Eileen Pavia's Facebook page.

Patti gave her Odette as a companion and she was going to be spayed. Eileen Pavia accused Kayo openly on Facebook of abusing the Odette and Arrow. LIE! This was how Kayo and I found out that Odette was never coming back to her for sure, when we saw that post.

 

16. Risa Ikeya joined into Eileen Pavia's post and that’s when I got REALLY upset and posted on Faceook myself and created pages on my website.

17. As of this moment Kayo and I have no puppy or dog and NO STUD fee paid. Kayo is being lied about by wacko Risa Ikeya and this Eileen Pavia that now has Odette who is being spayed.

 

18. Feb 18th a puppy parent where we have a male puppy that I placed there from the litter texted me with a question.  He said that Patti had offered him the opportunity to Adopt Arrow (he was the boy that Risa was going to import to Japan).  She must have decided she did not want this love bug anymore.

This person was wondering if Kayo and I would sign off on Arrow since it's required for transfer of ownership. That is actually NOT true and is not required for transfer, so this person, new to AKC and showing must have been told that by Patti. Over the phone the person considering adopting Arrow also told me that he had to agree that Arrow could never be used at stud.

Kayo and I agreed that we would not sign off of him, knowing that his name would probably be changed and possibly Patti and Risa would sign on again. It could have been a ploy to get us off the dog. This is the lieing technique used to get Odette back from Kayo.

​

19.  It now appears that Arrow is for sale on the AKC Market Place and available as of Feb 19th (the day after the communication described above) to a companion home.

​

20. Patti Fitzerald sent Kayo a very mean message telling her that we owe her money.

 

$1200 for picking up Arrow and taking back to Patti's - That was Patti's choice. Kayo would have gladly kept him and exported him to Japan for Risa as was originally planned.

​

$500 for the website that I built Patti for FREE out of the goodness of my heart.  She still has a hosted website and owns the domain name www.kishnigaborzoi.com which she purchased. She just needs to have a web person recreate the content  - that would not be FREE.

​

$1480 for heart worm testing.  If she had asked Kayo, she would have known that Kayo was using her own Heartworm medicine up before opening the medicine she sent down with Arrow and Odette.

​

Based on my estimate Patti will pocked a minimum $14,500 from the sale 5 puppies. Four for $3,000 each and one now advertised for $2500. No stud fee paid to date 2-22-2025.

​

Now let's see what REAL expenses Patti owes Sedona Borzoi:

Stud fee - same price as puppy - $3,000
Cost of collecting the semen and shipping it overnight - $500
Boarding fee for Arrow and Odette for five months - $7500​
